 On 1st February 2025, we conducted our Sports meet as per B.Ed. curriculum. We already started games 3 days before the main day. There were both indoor games and outdoor games. The indoor games were carroms and chess. There were games like badminton, handball and field events like shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw, and athletics were included. Everyone participated with full spirit. The whole event was managed by our sports teacher Shofida. We really enjoyed the event.

 As a part of BEd curriculum, on our second semester we went for our field trip. The journey was scheduled for 2 days to Marayoor and Munnar. The trip included 12 tourist spots in Idukki district. The journey started on 23rd January evening. We reached Marayoor at morning. Then went to Kanthalloor. We visited sandalwood forest. Also explored many waterfalls. There was a strawberry farm near Elachipara waterfalls. The next spot was Thenpara. We also saw Muniyara. The final destination of day 1 was jaggery production factory. There was also campfire set for enjoyment.  the second day was concentrated at Munnar. First destination was Rose Garden. Then went to photo point. Later visited Mattupetty dam. Echo point and Viewpoint were other spots we visited. Munnar and its tea plantation were mind blowing.   A workshop on skill development on the topic 'soft skills' was conducted on 5th February 2025. The workshop was led by Adv. Sudheer sir. Life skills help a person to live a comfortable life. It makes a person feel confident and motivated. It is important for the overall wellbeing of a person. Sir explained the importance of soft skills and also its advantages. He also taught us various methods of improving life skills. He focused on various life skills like: Communication skills Leadership skills Teamwork skills Critical thinking skills Time management skills Creative thinking skills The session was very interesting and with lots of activities and tasks. Through these activities he taught us different soft skills.

  A workshop on capacity building on the topic 'stress management' was conducted on February 3rd 2025. The class was conducted by Dr. Thottam Bhuvanachandran Nair sir. The class was information packed, activity oriented and interactive. Stress is normal reaction that happens to everyone. It is very important to manage stress since it is not completely avoidable. stress management is a part of capacity building. It is improving oneself, behavior and action. Sir very well spoke about the situations usually stress arises and the ways of managing it for our wellbeing. Overall, the class was really engaging and thought provoking.

 A workshop on Drama and Theatre practice was conducted on January 6th, 2025. The class was led by the scriptwriter Venu C Kizhakkanela. The session made us aware of the importance of script and script writing in teaching. The class enabled us to understand the importance of drama and art in life and in education. He explained about the script writing and stages of script writing. The five stages of script writing was:  Exposition Complication Climax Resolution Conclusion Sir then chose the famous malayalam poem 'poothapattu' by Idasseri Govindan Nair to teach drama. He creatively portrayed the picture of 'pootham' and 'Nangeli' through his actions. The workshop was very interesting and engaging.

 Our college held the Christmas and New year celebration on 31st December 2024. We cut cake and did various programs. We had Christmas friend event. Everyone including our teachers participated in the event. We exchanged gifts each other. 

 We went for our school induction for one week from November 5th for 1 week. I went to NSS HSS Chathanoor. We, 5 trainees went to that school. We observed various classes and various activities in the school. We also went to different classes for class management. It was a great experience. 

 Our college union 'Mizhivu' was formed and it's inauguration was held on December 2, 2024. Mizhivu was inaugurated by hon'ble MLA of Kundara Sri. P. C Vishnunath and arts club was inaugurated by Sri. Anu. V Kadammanitta, who is a poet and singer.

 The most awaited day has come. We were off to kanyakumari for our field trip. Our first destination was Thripparappu waterfalls. It was very beautiful place. Then we went to visit Padmanabhapuram Palace. It was a place filled with history. Next was our major destination, Kanyakumari. We enjoyed the sea and sunset and also did some shopping. 

  A work on art and craft was conducted as a part of our B.Ed. curriculum was scheduled on 8th October 2024. The class was led by Gopalakrishna Pillai sir. He taught us different varieties of paper crafts. Also he taught us fabric painting, vegetable printing and glass painting. It was indeed a useful and engaging session. Everyone enjoyed the class. 

 Our first house activity was planned on 18th October 2024. We had prepared variety of programs like songs, dance, skit etc. We really enjoyed it. Every members of our group did participate and did their best in different events. 

 As a part of our BEd curriculum we had yoga class and asanas practice. We learned various asanas like halasana, titli asana, padmasana, shalabhasana, naukasana, vrikshasana etc. We also practiced pranayama. The sir taught us about patanjali and ashtanga yoga. He also gave a detailed explanation of surya namaskar and how to do step by step. 

 On November 1 we celebrated Kerala piravi in our college. There were various programs like poster making competition, quiz, speech etc. The event was coordinated by Malayalam option students. 

 English association inauguration and magazine release was celebrated on 7th October 2024. This auspicious occasion was inaugurated by hon'ble Nishant Sihara IAS, sub collector of Kollam district.

 A workshop on capacity building program on the topic citizenship training was scheduled on 3rd October 2024. The class was led by Thodiyoor Radhakrishnan sir who is a resource person of kila and suchitwa mission. The class began at 10 am and it was a wonderful and engaging session.

 We celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on October 2nd. We cleaned our college and planted some plants, watered them. Later we conducted various programs. Our option students, department of physical science conducted a Gandhi quiz.
