FIELD TRIP

 The most awaited day has come. We were off to kanyakumari for our field trip. Our first destination was Thripparappu waterfalls. It was very beautiful place. Then we went to visit Padmanabhapuram Palace. It was a place filled with history. Next was our major destination, Kanyakumari. We enjoyed the sea and sunset and also did some shopping.

On National Science Day 2025, February 28 we decided to celebrate it to generate and enhance the need and importance of science among all students. Both of our option students, physical science and natural science students united to do all the programs. We initiated to do a variety of activities like science quiz, science ppt presentation, science speech etc. We also conducted an exclusive event treasure hunt. All the students actively participated as groups in this event and everyone enjoyed it. We prepared challenging tasks and activities that leads into treasure.

FIELD TRIP

 As a part of BEd curriculum, on our second semester we went for our field trip. The journey was scheduled for 2 days to Marayoor and Munnar. The trip included 12 tourist spots in Idukki district. The journey started on 23rd January evening. We reached Marayoor at morning. Then went to Kanthalloor. We visited sandalwood forest. Also explored many waterfalls. There was a strawberry farm near Elachipara waterfalls. The next spot was Thenpara. We also saw Muniyara. The final destination of day 1 was jaggery production factory. There was also campfire set for enjoyment.  the second day was concentrated at Munnar. First destination was Rose Garden. Then went to photo point. Later visited Mattupetty dam. Echo point and Viewpoint were other spots we visited. Munnar and its tea plantation were mind blowing. INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

 Yoga is very helpful in maintaining our health. Yoga day is celebrated worldwide on June 21. We also celebrated yoga day by practicing yoga asanas and pranayamas. We had presentation on the topic importance of yoga, history of yoga and yoga practices. We also discussed various benefits of different yogasanas and the dos' and don'ts of each asanas etc. Later everyone in the presence of a yoga instructor practiced yoga sessions and pranayamas. Overall it was indeed a productive day.
